The Fair Trade Emporium is in Building 9A, just inside the gates at the Addi Road Community Centre. Our home is a long, low, heritage building of corrugated iron painted blue.
Opening hours
Our usual opening hours are:
Fridays: 11am – 5pm
Saturdays: 10am – 4pm
Sundays: 9am – 3pm
Finding us
We are the first building on your left as you come through the gates into the Addi Road Community Centre at 142 Addison Road, Marrickville.
Transport Options
Buses are best – from the city via Newtown station, the 428 brings you right to the at the gate or the 426 & 423 can drop you at Enmore park about 10 minutes walk away.
Train & Walk: You can walk from Marrickville, Sydenham or Stanmore station – they are all about 15 minutes away from the Centre. From Marrickville station just head north up Illawarra Road until you reach Addison Road, turn left and we are just around the corner.
Cycle: We encourage everybody to ride their bicycles into the Centre. We have plenty of bike parking.
Car: There is ample car parking available at the Centre (except on Sundays, when the market is open). Once you have entered the main gates from Addison Road, drive straight on then take the first available right turn for the carpark.
As there are a children, families and elderly people visiting the Centre please make sure you keep your speed below 10km/h when driving.

The Fair Trade Emporium opened in the Stone Hut at Addison Road Community Centre in the spring of 2014.
